News

I have recently just heard about this new movement called Chrislam. It is a movement to bring about peace between Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. This last Sunday June 26, 2011 over 60 churches participated in a Chrislam Service. Suggested readings from the Torah, the Gospels, and the Qur'an were to be read during service, but churches were encourage to read readings that would resound within their congregations. Churches are even going so far as to remove the cross from their property.

Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership
have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has
light with darkness? Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or
what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? Or what
agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the
temple of the living God; just as God said, “I will dwell in
them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they
shall be My people. Therefore, come out from their midst and
be separate,” says the Lord. “And do not touch what is unclean;
And I will welcome you. “And I will be a father to you, And you
shall be sons and daughters to Me,” Says the Lord Almighty.

  1. I enjoy the blog. The pastor of the Lebec Church from years ago, I think Cein was about 5, brought the Chrislam thing to my attention. It had kind of been at the edge of my attention, then I looked it up. Oh my gosh! Very scary!
    Keep up the good work, Josh.

  2. This is crazy! It is one thing to love Muslims trying to bring them to Christ, but to worship with them as if we worship the same God is mind boggling. But there is now a school to train the leaders for churches like this:
